What is the Repair Turnaround Time?
- The process for repairs is as follows (each step contributing to Repair TAT):
- Induction of Part - Gathering of financial & ship to information (facilitated by RMA form)
- Initial Inspection - Overall inspection to determine original manufacturing information, verify reason for return
- Evaluation – Examine and test the part to identify failed components and determine what parts are needed to complete repair
- Planning – Allot parts, outline repair procedure, assure repair may be accomplished
- Repair – Replace defective and/or broken part(s)
- Test – Verify that the cable is fully functioning
- Final Inspection – Overall inspection to guarantee that the cable is in working condition and all the necessary steps have been completed to assure that it is a safe, operable part
